Community health

Community health is an important part of my transformation during the RN to BSN program because it gave me a wider perspective of nursing as it pertains to various populations. I was fortunate enough to have spent over 100 hours with the seniors from a lower socio-economic background. I was able to utilize my nursing skills to conduct screenings, analyze disease incidents, provide health education, and implement interventions that are based on a comprehensive assessment.
