Within the next five years, I plan on pursuing my Master's degree in Nursing. As a new nurse leader, I need to keep abreast of the newest evidence-based practice research to empower my nurses and improve patient outcomes. It is my duty and responsibility to better myself in order to better the practice of my nurses. I am a big believer of practice what you preach. I hope to inspire other nurses around me to always strive to be their best self by modeling the way.

Leadership plays a big role in inspiring success. Kaiser Permanente has enhanced my leadership skills through Star Leadership courses, adjunct classes, and other educational opportunities. I have taken the skills from these classes to help inspire my staff towards better patient outcomes and relationships.
